In this two hour session, work one-on-one with an experienced instructor learning the basics of wheel throwing techniques. As an experienced potter, this is a great way to hone your skills.
Our Wheel Private Lesson teaches the skills needed to "throw" a pot, like centering the clay and pulling up walls.
One-On-One sessions make a memorable date night!
Want to keep what you make?
The cost for firing and finishing the work you've made during the session is $20 for up to 4 pieces (per person). Finishing will include: cleaning the base, bisque firing, glazing, and firing a second time in the glaze kiln. Your pots will be ready for pick up in 2 to 3 weeks. Of course, if you like, you can always schedule a second session with an instructor to finish and glaze your work yourself.
Please contact us here to schedule an appointment before purchasing a lesson. Private Lessons are by appointment on an individual basis. Appointments may be available during the day or in the evening any day of the week. Please understand that your requested date may not be available.
Two Ways to Set Up Your Private Lesson
Whether you purchase your lesson or send a request, your contact information will be forwarded to an instructor. The instructor will contact you directly to schedule your lesson, based on availability, and answer any questions you have about the session.
When you come in for your lesson, wear old clothes or bring an old towel, apron or smock.
