Not sure if working with clay is for you? Come try your hand at it!
This one hour session on the pottery wheel is a perfect opportunity to try the creative possibilities of clay. An instructor will work with you one-on-one to throw something on the wheel. Beginners usually end up with a small bowl. Experienced students can ask to make projects of their choice.
Want to keep what you make?
The cost for firing and finishing the work you made during the lesson is $10 for up to 2 pieces. The instructor will finish your pieces (clean the base, bisque fire, glaze, and glaze fire). Your pots will be ready for pickup in 2-4 weeks. Want to glaze the work yourself? Schedule another lesson with the instructor to finish and glaze your work yourself. Purchase Firing Fees (to keep what you make - per person)
SCHEDULING
Please contact us here to schedule an appointment before purchasing a lesson. Once you have a date and time set with the instructor, you must pay for your lesson within 24 hours to confirm and save your date.
If you have no specific date or time in mind yet, you can purchase your lesson and contact us when you are ready.
Try It Out sessions are by appointment on an individual basis. Appointments may be available during the day or in the evening any day of the week. Please understand that your requested date may not be available.
WHAT TO BRING
When you come in for your lesson, wear old clothes or bring an old towel, apron or smock. All clay materials are supplied.
REFUND/RESCHEDULE POLICY
An unscheduled lesson may be refunded within 60 days after the purchase date. A scheduled lesson must be paid in full 24 hours after agreeing to the appointment. Scheduled lessons require 24-hour notice prior to the appointment in order to reschedule for a different timeslot. Scheduled lessons require 36-hour notice prior to the appointment for a full refund. Failing to attend a scheduled lesson without notification to the instructor or office, will render the class non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.
