In this two hour session, work one-on-one with an experienced instructor learning the skills needed to construct forms using slab, coil, or pinch techniques. As an experienced potter, this is a great way to hone your skills.
Want to keep what you make? The cost for firing and finishing the work you've made during the session is $20 for two projects up to 7" (per person). The instructor will finish your pieces (clean the base, bisque fire, glaze, and glaze fire). Your pots will be ready for pickup in 2-4 weeks. Want to glaze the work yourself? Schedule another lesson with the instructor to finish and glaze your work yourself. Purchase Firing Fees (to keep what you make - per person)
SCHEDULING
Please contact us here to schedule an appointment before purchasing a lesson. Once you have a date and time set with the instructor, you must pay for your lesson within 24 hours to confirm and save your date.
If you have no specific date or time in mind yet, you can purchase your lesson and contact us when you are ready.
Private Lessons are by appointment on an individual basis. Appointments may be available during the day or in the evening any day of the week. Please understand that your requested date may not be available.
WHAT TO BRING
When you come in for your lesson, wear old clothes or bring an old towel, apron or smock. All clay materials are supplied.
An unscheduled lesson may be refunded within 60 days after the purchase date. A scheduled lesson must be paid in full 24 hours after agreeing to the appointment. Scheduled lessons require 24-hour notice prior to the appointment in order to reschedule for a different timeslot. Scheduled lessons require 36-hour notice prior to the appointment for a full refund. Failing to attend a scheduled lesson without notification to the instructor or office, will render the class non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.
