Potluck and Presentation on
Friday, October 27th @6pm

Clay Connections is about sharing food, information, and inspiration.

This is a relaxed and casual event, featuring a presentation by local artist David Packer, on his book The Earth Has Three Colors: A celebration of Moroccan ceramics. The first full-length publication to provide a comprehensive overview of Moroccan ceramics, The Earth has Three Colors, traces its history from the rural domestic pottery of the indigenous peoples that inhabit the Rif Mountains, through 20th century Modernism, to the contemporary art of Marrakech. The three sections of the book center on the three different clay colors used in Morocco: indigenous red, traditional gray, and industrial white.

WHERE: BrickHouse Ceramic Art Center
WHEN: Friday, October 27th @6pm
WHAT TO BRING: Food for the potluck!
This event is free and open to everyone! However, you must RSVP and sign up to bring a dish for the potluck.
